6 Months!

Our little boy is now half a year old. This month's celebration was incomplete since Bondi had to go on a business trip to El Nido, Palawan for 4 days. We again (as usual) celebrated with some cake. Here are some shots:

My Little Snorer

I couldn't sleep well last night. Why? My little one is snoring! On the other end of the room is his father snoring too (if you can hear the faint sound, which is actually louder in reality). Like father, like son. Oh well. He doesn't usually snore this loud (I think having the camera next to his face make it seem louder). I hope this isn't a sign that there's something wrong health-wise and is just what it is - a loud snore, at trait he easily got from dad.

* Side note: Sebastian has finally been sleeping through the night (waking only a few times, maybe just one or two, to nurse) and on his own for 3 days now, without me doing anything (even the Ferber method). It just magically happened one day, when he fell asleep while jumping on Auntie Karen's lap and eventually landing on a soft cushiony part of her aunt's body (read: boobs). It was weird how he was hyper one minute and sleepy the next. I hope I don't jinx it by noticing it. Heheh. :)

Standing?

Sebastian usually goes to my parents' home office and hang out with them. He has been so talkative and very active lately. So today, with nothing better to do, Sebastian and I went to hang out with lolo (aka popsky) and lola (aka momsky) and I took video clips of dear Basti.

Here's a clip of our baby boy playing with one of his toys. Notice that he can sit unsupported and stand with support (me holding his butt, LOL). The first time I saw him try to balance himself while standing was 3 days ago, while dear hubby encouraged the little guy. Of course he still couldn't stand on his own, but his legs are so strong that Sebastian can't wait to try standing (he's been jumping for months anyway, so I'm thinking his leg muscles have already developed?).

Here's talkative Sebastian. He stops when he notices the camera pointed at him. This was taken today as he was "chatting away" with grandma.

I don't know what it is, but Sebastian just keeps on doing this lip-smacking thing after he nurses. The way he does it makes one wonder if breastmilk tastes good. Hmmm.... maybe I should contact an ad agency and see if Basti can endorse their product with him doing this:
