My OB, Dr. Nanette Olivia Lashay, did another ultrasound, and boy, did this little peanut grow more than twice its size (from 0.87cm to 1.83cm) in a span of 5 days! This bean actually measured 3 days ahead. We saw the heartbeat again, and it's at 163bpm. Everytime we get a chance to "see" the baby, it still amazes us how that tiny being could exist inside me, and Bondi just curls whenever he sees that tiny heart beating on the screen. The corpus luteum cyst in my left ovary is now smaller and in a few weeks the placenta will take over, producing progesterone to sustain the pregnancy.
Overall, things have been pretty uneventful. I'm still thanking God for His faithfulness, and still continue to pray for a happy and healthy nine months, trusting Him and holding on to His promises.
